Champion Dawgs 2009 was a great year for Bowie Boys Lacrosse, ending the season as Central District Division I Champions. This is no small feat considering that was only our second year playing at the DI level. The JV team had a long and successful season, remaining unbeaten in district play.

Post-season honors were awarded to these outstanding players: All-State to Roderick Mayberry (Midfield, Sr.); All-District to Andrew Doak (Attack, Sr.), Kenneth Raney (Midfield, Sr.), Chris Ruiz (Midfield, Jr.) and Dominic Pizzuti (Midfield, Soph.); Honorable Mention to Connor Jackson (Defense, Sr.) and Graham Edelmon (LSM, Soph.)
